
Stock In News: US Investor Sells Mazda Shares For 3rd Day In A Row; Stock Hits 5% Upper Circuit
New Delhi, September 23, 2026: Stock in News: Shares of engineering company Mazda Limited staged a sharp recovery on Wednesday, September 23, after falling prey to selling pressure for the last two trading sessions. The stock surged as much as 5% to hit the upper circuit at ₹259.60 on BSE.
The jump came after three straight days of trading where Croll Reynolds International Inc, a U.S. investor, sold more than 5 lakh shares of Mazda.
Croll Reynolds International offloads 5.05 lakh Mazda shares
In three trading sessions, Croll Reynolds International offloaded a total of 5,05,811 Mazda shares, Moneycontrol reported.
On September 18, the US investor sold 1.50 lakh shares at ₹261.07 per share, or close to ₹3.91 crore. It then sold another 1,12,884 equity shares at ₹256.58 per share on September 21, worth around ₹2.90 crore.
On Sep 22, Croll Reynolds International sold 2,42,927 shares at ₹243.51 each, amounting to about ₹5.91 crore.
In the last three sessions, the investor has sold a total of 5.05 lakh shares or 2.52% stake in Mazda. As of June 2026, Croll Reynolds International owned a 7.23% stake in the company.
Mazda stock under pressure
The US investor kept selling while Mazda shares were under pressure. According to Moneycontrol, the stock has dropped around 9% in last two sessions of trade.
Shares of Croll Reynolds International fell 4.39% to Rs 242.75 on September 22 on high volumes as the company sold another 1.21% stake in Mazda.
However, the stock made a strong comeback on Wednesday and hit the 5% upper circuit at ₹259.60 on the BSE, bouncing back sharply from the previous session’s close.
Who Purchased Mazda Shares?
On September 22, Sharmin Nasser bought 1.60 lakh shares of Mazda at ₹243.23 per share, along with the sale of Croll Reynolds International. The deal was valued at around ₹3.89 crore.
The bulk-deal data also showed the transaction involving Croll Reynolds International and Sharmin Nasser at prices in the ₹243 a share range.
