A short time ago, 24 carat gold was down almost 0.6% at 1 lakh 54 thousand 50 rupees per 10 grams in the Indian metal market, while silver was down more than 2.2% at 2 lakh 53 thousand 450 rupees per kilogram.

When reports last came in, silver for May contract was trading more than 1.7% down at 2 lakh 52 thousand 758 rupees a kilogram, and gold for June contract was selling nearly half a percent lower at 1 lakh 53 thousand 890 rupees per 10 grams at the Multi Commodity Exchange.
In the Indian bullion market, gold drops 0.6% to Rs 1,54,050 per 10 kilos.
