Gold and Silver Price Today: Gold, Silver Fall on September 21

Gold and silver prices fell in early trading Monday, September 21, 2026. Precious metals remained under pressure as global market developments and geopolitical uncertainties continued.

Current Gold Price

As per Moneycontrol, gold prices fell in the domestic market on Monday. In Delhi, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,53,230 per 10 grams while 22-carat gold was at Rs 1,40,350 per 10 grams.

Gold rates may differ city-wise depending upon local market conditions, taxes and other factors.

Current Silver Price

The domestic futures market showed weakness in silver as well. MCX silver futures were quoting 0.39 per cent lower at ₹2,42,663 per kg as per the previous close for the December contract, according to Moneycontrol.

The domestic spot silver price had closed the previous session at ₹2,37,062 per kg.

MCX Gold & Silver Prices

MCX gold futures for the October contract were trading down 0.38 per cent at ₹1,53,789 per 10 grams in early trade, Moneycontrol reported.

Meanwhile, silver futures for December contract declined 0.39 percent to ₹2,42,663 per kilogram.

Gold Price Worldwide

Spot gold slipped slightly to around $4,365 an ounce in early trade on the international market. US gold futures fell 0.40 percent to about $4,407 an ounce.

The unfolding geopolitical developments around the US and Iran and recent changes in expectations for US interest rates shaped market movements.
