Last week, gold and silver prices in the Indian bullion market fell by almost 2%. Gold futures for the June contract at the Multi Commodity Exchange ended the week at 1,55,575 rupees per 10 grams, down more than 1.9%. In the meantime, silver futures for the July contract ended the week at 2,66,998 rupees per kilogram, down 1.8%.

Silver futures for the July contract fell 0.4% to close at $75.88 per troy ounce at the Commodity Exchange (COMEX). Over the course of the week, gold futures for the August contract increased by 0.8% to close at $4,593 per troy ounce.
