At the Roundtable, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal spoke with more than fifty business and industry executives. In cooperation with the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, the Indian Consulate General in New York organized the discussion. In a social media post, Mr. Goyal said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, he emphasized India’s robust development story, reform-driven business environment, and growing prospects for international investors during the roundtable. He also talked about how to strengthen supply-chain, trade, investment, and innovation ties between the US and India for mutual prosperity.
