Today, benchmark domestic equity indices increased by more than 1.5 percent. The Nifty gained 389 points to close at 24 thousand and 231, while the Sensex gained 1,264 points to conclude at 78 thousand and 111. Earlier, in anticipation of a resumption of diplomatic relations between the United States and Iran, markets opened higher, following increases in worldwide stocks. Both indices were able to maintain their upward momentum throughout the session as a result of widespread purchasing across sectors.

Shares of 28 out of 30 businesses in the Sensex pack saw increases. Among the best achievers, PowerGrid increased by 4.1%, Eternal increased by about 4.4%, and Indigo increased by more than 4.6%. Conversely, ICICI Bank fell 0.2% and Bharti Airtel fell more than 0.6%.
All 25 of the BSE’s sectoral indices showed an increase. Services increased by 3.3%, Focused IT increased by 3.1%, and Industrials increased by 2.9% among the top gainers.The BSE’s overall market breadth was positive, with shares of 3,585 companies rising, 802 falling, and 126 staying the same.
